For the best results, we strongly prefer print-ready, vector-based PDF files. We also accept native Adobe Illustrator (.AI), Photoshop (.PSD), and .EPS files. Please ensure all fonts are outlined and images are embedded. While we can accept high-resolution JPEGs or TIFFs, vector files will always produce the sharpest print.

"Bleed" is an extra margin of your design (typically 1/8" or 0.125") that extends beyond the final trim lines of your page. It's essential because it ensures that after the cutting process, there are no unprinted white edges, resulting in a clean, professional edge-to-edge finish.
For high-quality, sharp printing, your images should have a resolution of at least **300 DPI (Dots Per Inch)** at their final physical size. Most images saved from websites are only 72 DPI and will appear pixelated or blurry when printed.

**RGB** (Red, Green, Blue) is an additive colour model used to display images on digital screens like monitors and phones. **CMYK** (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) is a subtractive colour model used in four-colour printing. All print files must be converted to CMYK, which is why designing in CMYK from the start yields the most accurate colour results.
This can happen for two main reasons. First, screens use the RGB light-based colour model, while printing uses the CMYK ink-based model, and not all RGB colours can be perfectly replicated with ink. Second, most screens are not professionally calibrated for colour accuracy. We use professionally calibrated equipment to match colours to the CMYK values in your file as closely as possible.
For standard printing viewed up close (like brochures or business cards), the industry standard is **300 DPI** (Dots Per Inch) at full size. For large-format prints viewed from a distance (like a large banner), 150 DPI is often sufficient.
**Raster** files (e.g., .JPG, .PNG) are made of a grid of pixels. When you enlarge them, they lose quality and become blurry. **Vector** files (e.g., .AI, .EPS, .PDF) are made of mathematical paths. They can be scaled to any size—from a pen to a building-side banner—with zero loss of quality. For logos and text, vector is always superior.
